Hey peeps! Just some more college stuff! :)
After I had my sister (who just graduated from NKU) look over my schedule, she recommended I take the honors communications class, which is offered in the spring, instead of the standard one I was scheduled for so I can get both gen ed credit and honors credit. So I decided to take Stats 250 so I can work towards my math major.
(the way the classes look, it seems like I have to take a generic physics sequence for the first 3 semesters before I can start taking more physics classes, so I can focus on my math major for now :))
But my advisers said that taking two upper level math/stats classes first semester freshman year is inadvisable, but they would let me do it if I get a 5 on my BC calc test. So we will have to see about that… there’s a good chance I may have gotten a 5, but yeah… we’ll see… If I get a 4 I can always argue I got a 5 on the AP statistics exam, but hopefully I just get a 5 on my BC calc, so I am eagerly awaiting getting my scores in a week or so!
And then, I may be switching dorms! I got offered housing in the honors living community, which seems to be a bit nicer than what I had already been assigned. Plus it seems like the honors people are really nice and just great people to be around with. I requested more information about how to switch, but am still waiting for a reply, though I am pretty sure that I can switch into the honors living community without much issue.
Well that’s all! I am just really really excited to start college and take all these (finally?) challenging classes, and fun like my fandom class ahhaha. I can’t wait to start at NKU! :)
